| The
TARGET 100 Programme...The ESSA Membership Drive |
| ESSA
currently has a membership of 88. Members of the
organization come from a number of different disciplines and
areas of ergonomics. Membership is encouraged from:
academics and all those involved in sectors of industry,
agriculture, commerce, occupational health and indeed all
working environments.
All members receive quarterly
newsletters plus the ergonomics SA journal. The ESSA
website also provides information for members and an e-mail
distribution has been running from 2002. We need input from YOU
for these publications and communications. We will
also keep you informed of international activities and
forthcoming events/conferences.
|
| The
aim of TARGET 100...
|
| The
aim of the "Target 100" membership drive is
to get the ESSA membership to 100 and to keep it above that
level into the future. Furthermore, the committee would like
to encourage ACTIVE participation.
|
| How
can you assist the TARGET 100 Programme?
|
| We
are asking the current members to spread the word about ESSA
and to make an active attempt to encourage growth of the
Society. Larger membership will encourage more frequent
interaction and assist in the establishment of a formalised
regional structure.
